Olga Paskina, CEO of National Media Group, becomes a Board member of the Cinema Foundation
On November 17, 2018, the Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev approved the membership of the Board of the Federal Fund for Economic and Social Support of the Russian Cinematography (the Cinema Foundation).
Olga Paskina became a member of the Board of the Cinema Foundation alongside 20 representatives of creative associations, broadcasting and cinematography organizations, cultural figures, and representatives of federal executive bodies, the Government Office and the President's administration.
The members of the Cinema Foundation Board are appointed for three years at the recommendation of the Ministry of Culture.
The Federal Fund for Economic and Social Support of the Russian Cinematography was established in January 1995 in accordance with the order of the Russian Government. The main tasks of the Foundation are to support Russian cinematography, increase its competitiveness, create conditions for making high-quality films meeting national interests, and make Russian films popular both in Russia and abroad.
